On March 10, 1997 the first Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode premiered. Now, 21 years later, we’re still holding onto the brilliance, beauty and badass-ness of Buffy. Ahead of its time, the series was groundbreaking in its portrayal of female empowerment. And of course, we all loved the supernatural elements involved with fighting evil forces and monsters.
We still can’t believe Buffy’s over. (I’m not crying, you are.) But there’s always Funko Pops! to bring back the magic. If you’re a big fan, check out these 10 Pops! that commemorate our favorite Buffy characters!
Buffy is the best female lead from 90s TV. We miss her.
Here she’s pictured with her kick-ass crossbow.
She’s the slayer with darker tendencies.
“Bloody hell!” There’s also a Chase of Spike in vampire form.
The normal one of the group, Xander is good comic relief. Here we’ve got the Chase variant with an eye patch.
Buffy’s mentor and friend, Giles is a Watcher with style.
The chill werewolf of the group.
Buffy’s vampire love interest. Yeah, remember that whole curse thing?
Buffy’s BFF forever.
Willow turns vampire in this amazing Pop! variant.
We couldn’t help but add this 2-pack with Buffy and Faith. So much slayer power.
